Sale Price:$17.00 Original Price:$37.00

Do you want your photos to showcase your calligraphy in the best light, but struggle with styling your pieces? What about editing the photos? This guide is designed to help you take better pictures of your calligraphy whether it’s for your portfolio to show clients, or for sharing on Instagram (or both, if you are anything like me)!

This guide is 18 pages and includes instructions for downloading your two presets, using them, adjusting them, and creating your own! I also included tips on flatlay styling (with pictures of me styling an image step by step). With additional tips and tricks throughout, this guide will teach you how to take better pictures whether you want to showcase a particular aesthetic or edit to show true colors.

This listing includes the guide and 2 “base presets” called Curves 1 and Curves 2. These presets are not designed to edit your photos to a finishing point, rather will help you edit your own photos without having all the other presets.

If you want the guide with all 21 presets, click here.

Due to the digital nature of this project, no refunds will be given.

FAQs

When will I receive these items? They will arrive as an instant download once your payment is processed. If you don’t see the downloads in your inbox, check your spam/junk folder. If you are able, purchase and download onto your computer. The files are zipped together, so you will need to unszip them (easiest on a computer!). This will also take up less room on your mobile device. You can then share the presets (and even the guide if you want!) to your mobile. If you continue to have issues, please email me from the email that you purchased with so that I can look into it! Remember, the link expires 24 hours after purchase, so purchase when you are ready to download!

How do I use the presets? Download the guide first and read the instructions. Many phones now are able to open the preset files in Lightroom without any trouble. Try this first. Again, the guide has detailed instructions. You can also google “how to install mobile presets” to find more instructions. This may help if you encounter issues. If you continue to have issues, please let me know! Once you have the presets in Lightroom, the guide has additional tips for achieving the results you want.

Wait, I want more than two presets! I understand! It is available here with all 21 presets.

What if I don’t want the presets? That’s ok- buy this listing and you don’t have to use that two that come with the guidebook.

Will they work for my lighting? This listing includes two presets designed to get your editing process started on the right foot. They aren’t designed to perfect your images after applying, however some images may just need this minor editing to look perfect to you. It’s important to remember that everyone’s phone cameras are different, lighting is different, editing styles are different… this is why it was crucial to me to provide a guide so that you can learn how editing works so that you can make the photos look the way you want. Once you know what you want your pictures to look like, you can save those edits as a new preset and have your own preset created by you for your light and camera!

I don’t do calligraphy. Will this guide still benefit me? If you take flatlay pictures (especially pictures of paper) or if you just want to learn how to use Lightroom better, this guide can still help. You can purchase this listing with the two presets, (that will benefit nearly any type of photograph- even outdoor landscapes!) if you doubt the other presets will benefit you.

I need my colors to appear true so that I can accurately represent my product. Should I purchase this listing or the one with more presets? If you like to do the editing yourself, then purchase this listing. That said, a few of the presets in the other listing will correct indoor lighting and possibly give good results.
